I still commend Toyota for giving you the option of getting a big honkin’ V6 with probably too much power in their boringmobiles.

Having a 300hp V6 Camry is kinda cool. Because it can be a bit of a sleeper.

At first I thought I could at least have fun using the manumatic and wringing out the engine, but 1) it shifts in the wrong direction (stuck forward up, backward down) and 2) at 35 mph, you need to shift down about four gears before you actually feel a rev spike.

It is nice they offer a big, powerful V6, but their transmission tuning sucks. The 8 speed auto is crap compared to say the ZF unit or the 10 speed in the Accord. 2.0t.
